Will Bartleet, Chief Investment Officer recently spoke Joseph Wilkins and David Thorpe at FT Adviser on ‘The Asset Allocator’ podcast.
Listen as Will discusses how, as Multi-Asset Investors, the team uses all the tools at their disposal, including Active, Passive, Factor, and Sector approaches, to build portfolios.
He talks about Emerging Markets and why they primarily invest through Active Funds.
Will also explains that when they first built the Pacific MPS portfolios over seven years ago, they aimed to solve problems for advisers. One issue was the pressure on costs while still being able to create portfolios that can rapidly respond to evolving environments and allocate to strategies like alternative risk premia or take advantage of more niche strategies that are not allocatable on platforms.
Will goes on to elaborate on how the team successfully achieves this and the innovative approaches employed by PAM to create modern portfolio solutions.
